My Credentials

A little bit more about me…

My journey into nutrition and wellness was born out of my own struggles with mental health and my relationship with my body and food. These challenges led to gastrointestinal issues that I had to confront and manage through food, mindfulness, and holistic wellness practices like meditation and yoga. This personal experience sparked a deep passion for understanding the profound connection between what we eat, how we feel, and how we heal.

I began my academic journey at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where I studied Dietetics for two years. During my transfer to James Madison University, I felt drawn to a more holistic approach and shifted my focus to Health Science, Health studies. After graduating, I pursued a Master’s Degree in Applied Clinical Nutrition at New York Chiropractic College, which further deepened my understanding of how nutrition impacts our overall well-being.

Since completing my degree, I have continued to advance my knowledge through specialized training in women’s health and nutrition, and taking the Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) exam.

My passion for prenatal and postpartum nutrition took root during my first role as a WIC Nutritionist with the government agency WIC. I supported women through all stages of pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and their children's early years up to age two. Witnessing the transformative journey of motherhood inspired me to dedicate my career to helping women and families thrive during this unique time.

To complement my nutrition expertise, I’ve earned certifications in yoga, including a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification, and 85-hour Prenatal Yoga certification, and additional training in women’s yoga and pelvic floor health. These tools allow me to offer a truly integrative approach to wellness, blending nutrition, movement and mindfulness for holistic care.

I am honored to support women as they navigate pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond, offering guidance that is rooted in compassion, knowledge, and personal experience. Welcome to Inner Bloom Wellness!

“As women, we hold the profound gift of creation within us, a reflection of our deep connection to this earth. Through pregnancy, we are reminded of our innate power, our bond with nature, and the sacred role we play in nurturing life in harmony with the world around us.”
