Hey there! I'm Alyssa, the founder of Inner Bloom Wellness. My Journey into nutrition and women’s health was born from years of struggling with my relationship with food, battling gastrointestinal issues, and navigating the weight of mental health. For so long, I felt disconnected from my body and overwhelmed by my health challenges.

Through patience, self-discovery and learning to nourish myself intuitively, I rebuilt my relationship with food-and with myself. I discovered the power of listening to my body, choosing foods that felt right for me, and finding clarity in every aspect of my life. As I healed, I felt empowered to embrace my body with love, restore my health, and step into a place of balance and vitality.

This transformation sparked my passion to help women experience the same clarity and empowerment in their own lives. I specialize in supporting women along the prenatal and postpartum journey - a sacred and powerful time that is often misunderstood and overlooked. I believe this phase is an opportunity to truly connect with your body through each phase of the journey, nourish deeply, and reclaim your health and power.

With a warm, nurturing approach, I’m here to guide you in creating a sustainable relationship with food, rebuilding trust in your body and stepping into a state of well-being that aligns with your unique needs. Whether you’re preparing for pregnancy, navigating postpartum or simply seeking a deeper connection to yourself, I’m here to help you feel your best.

Prenatal & Postpartum Nutrition

  • I bring a diverse educational and professional background to my work, combining evidence-based nutrition expertise with holistic, mindful movement practices. My qualifications include:

    • Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (Health Studies)

    • Master of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition

    • 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT)

    • 85-hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher (PYT)

    In addition, I hold specialized certifications in:

    • Yoga for Pelvic Floor

    • Pregnancy & Postpartum Yoga

    • Holistic Health Coach Training for Women

    This blend of science and holistic wellness allows me to support women with comprehensive care tailored to their unique needs.

Events

  • Inviting Equilibrium

    Find balance moving into the holidays with Alyssa & Cassandra. We will begin the afternoon off with a 60 minute Yin Yoga practice lead by Cassandra to open up our connective tissues, then venture into a Cacao Ceremony and journaling, followed by a guided conversation with Alyssa about simple ways to help you gut over the holidays without sacrificing or skipping the holiday goodies. From here we move into our Sauna sessions and Sound Healing.

    Prenatal Partner Yoga

    come learn techniques for breath awareness, massage and partner poes, which can help strengthen and relax your body and ease your mind during this beautiful journey through pregnancy and delivery. This prenatal partner yoga workshop is for those pregnant and their partner/husband/friend/family member during pregnancy.

    Silent Night Evening Retreat

    An evening in silence, reflecting and rejuvenating. Join Alyssa and Cassandra for a mini silent evening retreat during this busy time of year. We start the night off with a reflective journaling session (journals are provided) with tea grown at Honest Haven studio. After our journaling session, the group will divided into 2 groups, 1/2 will head to the sauna with Alyssa for a restful reflection and the other half will stay with Cassandra for a 45 min sound healing journey of rejuvenation. After 45min the groups will switch. Mats, props, towels, robes, slippers, hats, sweat towels, and water are provided during your session. You only need to bring yourself and wear layers that can be easily removed for the Sauan, unless of course, you have other items you want to bring you are more than welcome to bring them.

It involves holding supported poses for extended periods, typically ranging from 5 to 20 minutes, to encourage deep relaxation and release tension in the body and mind. The practice of restorative yoga promotes physical, mental, and emotional healing and renewal.

  • This is a dynamic and inclusive style of yoga that is suitable for practitioners of various skill levels, from beginners to experienced yogis. It combines the fluidity and movement of a vinyasa-style practice with modifications and options that allow practitioners to adapt the practice to their own needs and abilities.
